Cultural placemaking is a really important part of our work at Four Culture, so the team were thrilled to be appointed, along with colleagues across Four to win the brief, after a competitive five way pitch, for Wembley Park, the new 85 acre site being developed in North West London.
The winning team, combining expertise from Four Culture, brand and media teams, is already hard at work, developing and implementing a perception-changing B2C communications strategy for Wembley Park, London’s newest creative and cultural neighborhood.
Its first curated programme, Summer of Play, is already underway, with 300 hours of free entertainment, from craft workshops and live music, to the first-ever free public screening of NT Live Encore performances.
Wembley Park’s 85 acre site, part of the £3billion regeneration scheme being managed by property developer Quintain, will enjoy 7,500 new homes, a new 2,000 capacity theatre, both due to open in autumn 2018, a new primary school, 42 new shops and restaurants and major investment in public realm, including a 7-acre park and a world-class public art programme. Quintain have just been crowned Best Property Company at the Evening Standard Business Awards, a huge accolade in the capital.
Brent of course also recently won the bid to be London Borough of Culture in 2020, and Wembley Park is a key strategic partner in this fantastic Mayoral initiative.
It’s all happening in NW London!
