Media relations campaign for Foyles


Foyles opened its new flagship store in June 2014 at the former home of Central St Martins. We ran the media relations campaign and event-managed the opening party for over 700 guests.

Highlights included a media partnership with key industry magazine, The Bookseller, interviews and profiles across the national press, pre-opening awareness- building particularly in Metro and the London Evening Standard, and the promotion of the Grand Foyles Opening Festival which featured leading authors and arts figures from Jarvis Cocker to Hilary Mantel. Foyles’ timelapse film of the move was on and BBC Newsnight and trended on Twitter during the opening week.

You organised it all beautifully, like a well planned military campaign, or a well conducted orchestra!
