Web Developer – Four Digital

We are looking for an experienced web developer to join our fast-growing Digital team, seeking out the best technical solutions for our clients to achieve their online objectives and providing first class digital assets to a broad range of clients in the UK and Middle East. Working independently and as part of the wider team the successful candidate will be flexible enough to work on multiple projects, have the ability to initiate work and be able to pick up on existing projects.

Specific skills and knowledge required include an ability to create PHP driven sites with MySQL database interaction and an understanding of database architecture, understanding of good usability practices, UI/GUI and cross-browser knowledge. Technical requirements include familiarity with working in a LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) , experience of creating database-driven CMS solutions and working with XML feeds, familiarity with configuring web servers. Additional skills with Flash (ActionScript) or ASP would be a bonus.

The successful candidate will probably have at least 6 years experience in web development, have good communications skills, the ability to work in a team, initiative, ability to develop solutions, good organisational and workload planning skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, be self-motivated and keep up to date with developments within the digital industry.
