Christmas came early for Four Rain’s retail team who have been busy this month delivering the final phase of Wyevale Garden CentresDiscover Wonderful Christmas campaign.

Specialists in establishing clients as trend and topic experts, Four Rain worked closely with Wyevale Garden Centres’ passionate in-house team to develop headline hitting news stunts to coincide with the arrival of Christmas in all 148 centres. Successfully capturing the attention of press with a ‘300% rise in sales of mini Christmas trees’ and the exclusive ‘Millennial Pink Poinsettia’ the resulting stories saw Wyevale Garden Centres’ experts quoted across pages of national newspapers and online news sites. 

Preparations for the campaign began back in June when Four Rain’s specialist team delivered a multi-channel Christmas photoshoot and lookbook to launch Christmas 2017 to both customers and the UK media.

The six month visual content project which saw branded content shared online, editorially and in centres across the country culminated in an intimate dinner which maximised the power of social influencers and provided the opportunity to introduce senior editors to the garden centre giant’s experts, buyers and Christmas tastemakers.

With garden centres up and down the country hosting a series of free festive events this month, the team have been working with local press and influencer networks to support the client and deliver regional exposure and brand reach.

With blanket coverage for the campaign already achieved in titles including the Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, Sunday Express, Sunday Mirror, Mail Online, Good Housekeeping and Red and Living, it’s been another successful year for the UK’s largest garden centre retailer.
